Contractors completed installation of the concrete medians on U.S. 78 this week in Section 1 from East Park Place Blvd to Stone Drive. The construction is now moving into Section 2 from Stone Drive to Killian Hill Road. When the project is complete, in November 2009, the roadway will have three (3) permanent lanes in each direction.

Work continues most nights after 7 p.m. and before 5 a.m. with lane closures to permit the construction activities.
